Gem Hats Kentucky Derby Pop Up

Join Gem Hats at Flanagan’s to build your very own custom hat that will keep you looking dapper throughout the year! Gem Hats offers custom, one-of-a-kind men’s & woman’s hats that represent you and your style. By curating a selection of upcycled textiles, flare and design work, Gem Hats is here to help you build your dream hat! 

This event is FREE to attend and the Custom Hat Bar will be first come first serve.

Gem Hats Custom Hat Bar Details

  • Adult Men’s & Women’s hats available in XS-XL. Limited kids sizing available.
  • Custom hats range from $120-$300. Custom hats must be paid in full at time of purchase. We accept all major credit cards, venmo & cash.
  • Hat base materials include straw, wool and suede. Each custom hat includes 1-2 bands, flare and custom design work.
  • Custom hats ordered during the Flanagan’s pop ups will be available for pickup in Louisville on Wednesday 4/26 & Thursday 4/27.

Gem Hats is a custom hat company focused on offering hats that are comfortable, accessible and customized. Every Gem Hat is handcrafted with upcycled materials, making each hat a truly one of a kind piece that tells your personal story. Caroline Hafele launched Gem Hats in 2021 and has since made hundreds of custom hats for customers across the US. Originally from Louisville, Caroline is thrilled to bring the Gem Hats experience to her hometown in celebration of the KY Derby!
