Gem Suedes are made out of a canvas base material that we cover in a synthetic suede. This makes for a very sturdy yet lightweight hat that never loses shape. Our suedes are available in 3 styles & 4 sizes (XS/S, S/M, M/L & L/XL).

Gem Wools are made with high quality merino wool. Wool felt is the most traditional hat material that has been used by milliners for hundreds of years. We stiffen our wool felt so it can maintain shape overtime.

Gem Straws are handwoven panama straws made by artisan partners in Mexico. Each hat is handwoven and takes between 10-12 hours to weave. All straws with color are dyed using local grains and fruits. Read more about the straw hat making process on our blog!
