The Gem Hats Custom Experience
Step 1: Find your size
Comfort is the most important piece when selecting your new custom hat! Gem Hats uses elastic sweatbands to provide extra comfort. Sizes range from Small-XXL.
Step 2: Select your hat
Choose your hat from our wide variety of materials, colors and styles.
Step 3: Pick your bands
Design your hat with our curated selection of upcycled bands, including leathers, silks and a full wall of textiles.

If you have any special fabric that you would like to incorporate into your hat design, please feel free to bring it with you to your appointment!
Step 4: Add your flare
Add feathers, vintage gems and custom branding to your hat. Branding options include initials, a variety of stamp symbols and small free-handed designs such as mountains, sun bursts and more.
Materials & Pricing
Custom hat prices include your selection of 2-3 bands, 2-3 pieces of flare and 1 piece of custom branding.
Hand-embroidery, jewelry hat bands, and premium gems are available at an additional cost.
Wool Felt

Gem Wools are made with high quality wool felt. We stiffen our wool felt hats so they maintain shape overtime. Great for fall, winter and chilly summer nights.
Canvas Suede
$225
Gem Suedes are made out of a canvas base material covered with suede. This makes for a very sturdy yet lightweight hat that never loses shape. Great for all seasons!
Panama Straw
$175
Gem Straws are handwoven hats made with jipijapa straw-the same material as the infamous Panama straws. Each hat takes between 8-15 days to weave. Great for spring & summer!
