Gem Wools are made with high quality merino wool. Wool felt is the most traditional hat material that has been used by milliners for hundreds of years. We stiffen our wool felt so it can maintain shape overtime.
Gem Suedes are made out of a canvas base material with suede stretched over. This makes for a very sturdy yet lightweight hat that never loses shape. Suedes are water resistant, very stiff and great for year-round wear!
Gem Straws are handwoven palm leaf hats made by our artisan partners in Mexico. These hats are great for summer days, are water resistant and lightweight.
